"Fuku-ari" is nickname of Fukuda Denshi Arena, which is the new home stadium of JEF united Ichihara Chiba since October, 2005.

my motivation is
1. to introduce this fascinating japanese football team to others, especially outside of this tiny island
2. to live up with dairy life

2nd and 5th and 1st [2009年11月23日(月)]

JEF united Chiba beated FC Tokyo with score of 2-1 at Fuku-ari yesterday.
2009 Nabisco cup winner tokyo was not in good shape without some players, and
without mental pressure of relegation JEF united players showed their aggresiveness
and tried many shoots for a goal. at 22nd minute Seiichiro Maki got injured
and JEF's manager Atsuhiko Ejiri called for substitution, Neto Baiano stood
on the pitch. only 3minutes after Brazilian striker was in, he did great job
keeping a ball for a while at the middle of the box area and fed a pass to Alex
who assisted Tatsunori Arai's header goal. however Tokyo pushed back quickly and Akamine
took the equalizer at 30th minute and Tokyo kept threatning JEF side for the rest
of the 1st half. Masataka Sakamoto got a chance of goal at 42nd minute but he
couldn't make it.

Neto Baiano displayed his skills and strongness during the match and at the
begining of the 2nd half he showed beautiful header with quick centering
ball from Masataka Sakamoto. JEF players continued attacking for next goal,
and Koki Yonekura had several chances during 10minutes however he failed.

in a sense the match was totally controlled by "the justice" Okada referee and
63rd minute Hirayama took his second yellow in this match and went out of the pitch.
Tokyo couldn't play the match better without Hirayama, Cabore, Nagatomo Kajiyama and Ishikawa.

JEF players tried thier bests for the third goal, but showed some coarse passes
and couldn't get the result. in injury time Tokyo invaded box area and showed the last
attack, JEF was lucky saved by the right post.

it's 2nd league victory at the home stadium Fuku-ari, and 5th league victory
since July. besides it's 1st J1 league match victory for the manager Atsuhiko Ejiri.
JEF players showed their spirits and eagerness for victory, and the football they showed
us was very attractive and enjoyable for fans and supporters though there were many things
to improve for competing among J1 clubs.
Tokyo was so nice, they gave us 6points this season and brought us
many tokyo side attendances to Fukuda Denshi Arena under chilly and rainy weather.

JEF hold the next match against Oita Trinita on next Sunday at Fuku-ari.
victory is needed for the last home match though they showed rather better performance
in recent match. hope JEF win Oita to offer them the bottom spot, now we have only
1 point advantage.

there are only 3 games in this season and the relegation had been decided.
now i recommend something we can do for our team.

1.let's write fanletters to players whom you want to watch in our club next season.
they might read and make their minds and decide to fight with us.(fanclub@jefunited.co.jp)

2.buy JEF united jergeies and goods as much as possible for decreasing overstock of this terrible season.

3.keep purchasing 2010 season tickets if you are the holder of 2009 ticket.

4.think different way of cheering players, it might be a best chance to change our attitude.

5.study J2 football and other clubs in order to prepare for next season.
the players and the stuffs are not the only ones but fans and supporters are also new challenger
of different league. we have to learn and adjust to the emvironment we don't have experiences.

it's not the time of keeping boos and criticizing team.
cool analysys and modest reconsideration must be needed for the team,
but we don't need hurting somebody by media hypes and meaningless condemnation.

the stories of Oita and Tokyo verdy are not the fire of the other side, but valuable lessons
we should learn from them.

japanese domestic economy seems getting worse, and JR East and Furukawa are suffered by slight depression.
now it's the time to support our club by ourselves, i suppose.

one year comeback is hard task [2009年11月15日(日)]

JEF united Ichihara Chiba lost emperor's cup match against FC Gifu today with the score of 0-1.
i checked internet and Yoshimoto's goal was from corner kick in the injury
time of 1st half, JEF players seemed lost concentrations at the time because of judgement.

FC Gifu players had stronger motivation for the match and they deserved for this victory.
from the internet loud boos from JEF fans were heard after the match and radical boys
stepped in front of JEF bus and made it stopped for a while.

it's pity we lost again and now we only have 3games for this season.
but it must be good for the team and fans to understand how hard to get a victory from J2 clubs,
and it's good to make restart
if we finish the season earlier then we have enough time for preparation of next season.
if we got victory somehow by a chance, we might had made another mistakes in decision matter.
it's sad and hard to accept, but this is tournament, this is football, i suppose.

FC Gifu seems suffering from financial matter, i hope they utilize this victory for
scouting new fans to their stadium and getting chance of sponsor donations.
i hope JEF united will pay back in J2 league match next year.

no surprise,no tear,no victory,but life must go on [2009年11月08日(日)]

img_2687.jpg

JEF united Chiba was beated by league leading Kawasaki Frontale today at away stadium.
this result drew JEF united's first relegation to J2. it's sad to be dismissed from top flight,
but it's no surprise in this situation, so there is no tear. at least we saw JEF players
brave spirits and thier eagerness for victory, it was good match against strong team,
only missing was the result we wanted.

Nabisoco cup runner up Kawasaki showed rather calm start at the begining of the 1st half,
both team paid much attention for defense and drived safe and clean as the president of
Kawasaki apporogized and put empasis on "fairplay" before the match. the stiff match
gradually changed and Kawasaki took their pace and made some chances, but Juninho seemed
not in good mental state and he was wide of the mark today.

at 35th minute JEF took the opener with one chance, Kohei Kudo finished loose ball rebounded
from the side bar, happened from Seiichiro Maki's header. JEF saved their lead and went into
the half time.

Kawasaki stressed hard from the begining of 2nd half, and made several chances from corner kicks.
and at 55th minute Nakamura invaded into the box area and teased Bosnar to be caught for penalty.
Renatinho's penalty kick strucked the net for 1-1 equalizer. JEF stretched their offensive forces
but got counter attack finished by Renatinho at 70th minute. JEF players kept their concentrations
and tried their best to get victory. their efforts brought another chance at 88th minute,
Takumi Wada finished it when the box area was jammed by both team players. JEF tried to get
the victory we needed, but it was easier for Kawasaki to get a chance of counter, and Renatinho
made huttrick at 89th minute.

we have to face up with this result and will have severe times at the end of this season.
maybe many players transfer to other J1 team, and the club can't afford some players enough.
fans and supporters might leave from stadium because JEF lost too much and lost interests for football.
anyway life goes on, i like JEF united, and like watching JEF's football at Fuku-ari.
wanna watch home victory in this season with JEF players listed now.
so i'll go and watch; hope JEF players release their pressure of relegation and enjoy playing.

Yonekura ! Yonekura ! [2009年11月01日(日)]

JEF united Chiba defeats Oita Trinita today at away stadium.
Koki Yonekura got the results of two goals.
i don't check any video but from Ejiri's interview after the match
JEF needs much improvements, anyway the victory must give some confidence for players.
Masaki Fukai seemed to got injured and it's my major concern.
the 4th round match is against FC Gifu at Kumagaya Stadium on 15th November.
next sunday JEF will have a crucial match against Kawasaki Frontale at away stadium and i hope JEF gets a victory to keep our campaign, and yet the mission is absolutely hard task.

Ghosts of past mistakes return as bad moon rises in Chiba

if Kawasaki becomes Yamazaki Nabisco cup winner [2009年10月28日(水)]

JEF united Chiba enjoys rest of this season with the cup winner clubs,
and for amazing 28th(Urawa) and 30th(Kashima) were also matches between
cup winners as JEF united took this title twice(2005,2006).

28 Urawa Red Diamonds(2003)
30 Kashima Antlers(2002)
31 Kawasaki Frontale(2009?)
32 FC Tokyo(2004)
33 Oita Trinita(2008)
34 Gamba Osaka(2007)

Kawasaki Frontale vs JEF united Chiba is scheduled on NHK channel 1 live TV program
(8th November 15:00-).
no matter how possibility is limited i'll be there and make noisy to
build our home atmosphere and hope it becomes some sort of assistance for our club.

Miserable ending [2009年10月25日(日)]

JEF united Chiba was beated by Kashima Antlers 0-3 at Kashima stadium yesterday.
JEF had a big chance at 1st minute when Alex fed a crossing ball from left side,
Seiichiro Maki headed back to the center of box, Tomi Shimomura's shoot seemed hitting
defender's hand and Tatsunori Arai's kick hitted side bar for no goal.

JEF lost two goals at the early time of 1st half with their own mistakes; at 8th
minute the pass between Eddy Bosnar and Tomi Shimomura was cut by Ogasawara and
he fed a ball behind defender and Koroki finished the opener. at 18th minute
the side changing pass was taken by kashima's defender and their counter attack
was completed by Marcos although there were adequate players for JEF side but untight
marking gave enough room for Marcos to use freely.

JEF players tried their bests, at least i watched they struggled hard and tried to
get a goal, but it seemed there was lack of automatism and team activities,
and they were individually struggling by themselves. maybe it is a limit they can handle
and play as a team without taking victory for more than 13matches.

oita trinita had a 1-1 draw with Kyoto Sanga and the first relegation club was set for oita.
but it seemed their performance were better than JEF in recent match, so miserable ending
of this season is just arround the corner for JEF side.

after all 30th match were finished, JEF united is 12points behind Omiya which holds 15th
place in J1 table where they can avoid relegation, and 4games remains in this season.
there is a small chance of avoiding relegation for JEF side, but it is numerical calculation
at desk and i have to admit we've already missed the train for the survival.
the destination might't change in this situation, but we still have 4games ahead and other clubs
compete for the top and some compete for better rank, so it is not the time to abandon playing for victory.
my hope is watching JEF's winning game, hard working of JEF players, their eagerness for victory.
i guess there's still some thing we can do right now.

last 4minutes was too long for JEF side in the match against Kyoto.
it was almost victory we wanted but Diego former veldy player kicked equalizer which gave JEF step for dropping.

89th emperor's cup [2009年10月12日(月)]

JEF united Chiba beated Honda FC today at Fuku-ari in the 2nd round match of 89th emperor's cup. Honda FC players displayed higher motivations for the match and they performed several good attacks for the 1st half. JEF players endured the pressure and carefully finished even to the half time.

JEF changed the pace from the begining of the 2nd half and one goal, Seiichiro Maki took at 49th minute brought ice break and the team was released from high pressure of giving triumph to lower category JFL team. Maki penetrated deep in the left side and kicked hard enough; defender at the center of goalmouse touched it like their own goal.
JEF players accelerated their offensive forces and at 62nd minute sideback Takumi Wada ran into the box area from the right side and shooted to the right lower corner for 2-0.
Koki Yonekura got a chance for entering the pitch at 70th minute, and he showed his physical strength and aggressiveness for a goal. at 81st minute his shoot was blocked by goalkeeper but
Tatsunori Arai was at the right position to get a clearing ball and easily finished it for 3-0.

it's first victory for the manager Atsuhiko Ejiri, and JEF proceeds to the next round in the emperor's cup since 2005 season. the contents of the match seemed not so good if you look to J1 standards,
JEF still needs much improvements for avoiding relegation. but the victory at home stadium since June made JEF fans and supporters at the stadium happy for a moment. i hope JEF keeps good momentum to the next match against Kyoto Sanga this weekend at the same venue.
the Emperor's cup 3rd round match will be held at Kyuseki stadium against Oita Trinita on 1st November.

JEF united's brother team JEF Reserves lost Kashiwa Reysol by penalty shootout yesterday.

for 120minutes. JEF Reserves players proved their ability for playing at top team, and
i hope they keep on training hard for the day.
